Detached ADU - Harris Rd, Placerville, CA

For this project, the homeowners wanted their parents to stay close by but have their own space and privacy. To achieve this, we built this detached ADU complete with its own kitchen, laundry space, full bathroom, livingroom, and covered porch with a view. The space was designed to have wider doorways and hallways to commodate walker or wheelchair use in the space. Our team helped select and furnish the ADU to have a timeless and low maintenance finishes.

The ADU is hooked up to a new septic system we installed, a dedicated PGE electrical service, but shares water with the primary home.
