For this full gut remodel, we changed out the old floor tiles with new matted ceramic 24"x36" floor tiles, for the shower floor our client went with black hexagon mesh tile. Shower wall tiles were also a 24"x36" quartz shower wall tiles purchased from Floor & Decor. One neat feature we put in this shower is the shower head set. If you notice, there is a rain shower, hand held, and 3 massage jets. California code would not allow this set up because it exceeded the 1.8 GPM limitation for a shower but we managed to find and install a flow control valve to meet the 1.8 GPM to pass inspections. ( Side note, you can always increase the flow rate when no one is looking.)
